Well that was bit of a surprise. 3000 pageviews on Saturday (after two years) and 5000+ on Sunday.
I’ve never really seen the need to have a journal as I’ve never thought my days to be of much interest to any one else - spreadsheets, budgets and interminable emails aren’t that interesting to me either – but this is the only way I can say a really heartfelt thank you to all of you who have stopped by in the past 48 hours (and prior to that if I’ve not said it before). A big thanks to snowmask and artistaunjuli for putting Smaug up there for everyone to catch a glimpse of. It is probably my personal favourite of my fantasy stuff – it sure pleased the wee boy who’s bedroom wall it now hangs on.

To those of you who are wondering where the jewels are on his underside – he’s not got them because he hasn’t massacred the dwarves and got a bed of them to lie on yet. (Thus the problem of painting the damn things realistically in watercolour is got around)
